Job Description Job Description MMD Inc in Los Angeles, CA is looking for sales representative / budtender to join our strong team. We are located on 1515 N Cahuenga Blvd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, professional and hard-working. We are a Legal cannabis dispensary in the heart of Hollywood seeking part-time budtender / reception with experience minimum 2 years experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or the cannabis industry. $17.87 per hour plus tip pool. Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a passion for learning and knowledge of the cannabis products and companies. Seeking professionals who are looking to grow in the industry who are dependable and outgoing. This position requires open availability, including holidays, weekends, and nights. This position is a people face position a will require energetic personalities. Position Overview: Budtenders take point to help customers make purchasing decisions. Budtender has superior product knowledge and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring customers are well informed and satisfied with the product that was purchased and the overall service experience. Responsibilities • Greet and welcome all customers as they come into the shop within 30 seconds • Inform the manager of any customer complaints or operational issues. • Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis • Keep abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends etc. • Accurately processing customers’ payments using the dispensary’s Point of Sale (POS). • Ensure cash draw is kept organized and balanced at all times. • At times, Budtenders will be asked to assist the Inventory manager with product counts. General Responsibilities: • Greet all customers, in a professional, friendly manner. • Ensure the store is well maintained, stocked, and clean at all times. • Treat co-workers with respect and look for opportunities to help others without being asked. • Show up to work on time in appropriate attire and compliant with appearance policies. • Possess adequate product knowledge to assist customers in making purchasing decisions. Qualifications 21 years old with a valid Identification to work in the United States. 2 years in a professional work environment. 1 to 2 years of work experience in sales / cash handling positions. Positive Attitude. Active learning able to multi-task with the will to learn more and grow. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 20 pounds. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
