Job Description:
Our Mission and Vision At Includ(Ed), Our philosophy is simple:
all children deserve access to community, care, and education. We
are on a mission to increase access to quality, inclusive early
childhood education and childcare one classroom at a time. What is
it that we do? Includ(Ed) provides early intervention-focused,
full-time, inclusive preschool where all are welcome. We also work
in homes across the county to provide holistic, play-based,
relationship-centered Early Intervention therapies for children
aged 0-3. The Role: Alongside the rest of the field therapy team,
this Occupational therapist would see approximately 22-25 infants
and toddlers in the home to provide therapy (driving time paid,
mileage reimbursed). Additionally, they would co-teach our weekly
parent-and-me developmental playgroups. Responsibilities: Deliver
direct services to children with diverse needs, fostering their
motor, sensory, and cognitive development. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans for children, in collaboration with
parents and other professionals. Conduct assessments and
evaluations in children's homes to identify specific therapeutic
needs. Provide individualized treatment sessions, focusing on
enhancing children's functional abilities in their home
environments. Educate and train parents or caregivers on strategies
to support their child's development and address specific
challenges. Co-create and facilitate transdisciplinary early
intervention-focused curriculum with a team of other therapists.
Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment
plans, progress reports, and any related administrative tasks.
Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers to provide updates on
their child's progress and involve them in goal-setting and
treatment planning. Collaborate with other professionals to support
students and share best practices Plan and lead community classes
weekly Qualifications: A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
from an accredited institution. CA State licensure as an
Occupational Therapist. Experience working with young children in
educational or therapeutic settings. Knowledge of best practices in
inclusive education and early childhood development. Excellent
communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work
effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated understanding of individualized treatment planning and
the ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs. Ability
to work effectively as part of a transdisciplinary team,
collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to interact compassionately with children, parents, and
colleagues. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working
with children of all abilities. Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic
needs of a pilot program and work in a collaborative, innovative

Regular access to reliable transportation. Commitment to continued
professional development Working Hours: Approx. 35 hours per week
providing home visits therapy to our clients (this includes travel
time) Approx. Approx 4 hours collaboration and admin time. Approx.
1 hours per week teaching community classes and therapeutic
playgroups Physical Requirements of the Job: Applicants should be
comfortable: Standing for 2 plus hours per day Stooping, bending,
climbing, and walking frequently Lifting up to 40 pounds How to
