Job Description:

The Med Tech is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care'. Ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the residents daily life rhythm. Develops assignments in coordination with the care partners and keeps each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.Schedule:Full-TimePM Shift: 3 pm to 11 pmRotating 4 shifts on 2 shifts off scheduleCompensation:Full-time 37.50 hours per weekHourly $18.00- $22.50/hour depending on experienceDifferential for NOC shifts, PM shifts and all weekend shifts A day in the life may look like:Provides resident care, including administering medications and documenting each treatmentMaintain communication with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and residents' families concerning resident carePrepares shift reportsPromotes and protects the rights of each residentTo be successful in the role, you would have:Current Med Tech certification is a plusMust have current CPR and First Aid certification prior to beginning workPrior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute careWhat's in it for you?As one of the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in the country, we are more than just a place to work.
