Job Description Job Summary: The Quality Control Repair Technician performs audits to ensure all quality standards of products are met prior to shipment to the customer and performs in house repairs on products. Essential Functions: Maintain working knowledge of complete product line and the QC procedures and standards for each product. Configure and test products. Perform in house repairs of products including soldering of printed circuit boards, replacement of SMD components on PCBs, diagnose and repair bad solder joints. Diagnose problems with all products to determine appropriate next step. Maintain accurate records of supplies on hand. Maintain accurate records documenting supplier performance; work with Quality Control manager to correct any deficiencies. Inspect finished products to ensure all quality and safety standards are met prior to products being shipped to customer. Assemble products & shipping containers. Performs other duties and projects as assigned to help Quality Control. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of prior QC repair experience. Relevant technical degree is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiar with computers and exhibits basic math skills. Detail orientated while maintaining the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Ability to understand and adhere to oral and written instructions. Self-sufficient and able to work independently.
