Job Description:

The Estimating Coordinator will assist our Estimating Department with coordinating projects and paperwork in support of producing and assembling accurate bids. The Estimator Coordinator's primary responsibility is to keep projects in order, up-to-date, and accurate to ensure and enhance the profitability of the department. This position may also include establishing and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Job Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Estimators in their bids from the initial setup to the final closeout of the bid process.Assist estimators with preparing electronic documents (converting files into Bluebeam).Prepare requisition plans and specification, including check requests and documents request, for projects selected by the Estimators or Project Managers.Support and manage the CRM tool for the Service groups' estimators and sales staff.Utilize and maintain estimating software, such as, Building Connected and Bid Board.Ensure the Company's estimating processes are followed and documented.Attend Pre-bid conferences or job walks as needed.Prepare Prequalification packages.Develop/create system for tracking prequalification documentation from submittal - to acceptance - to renewal.Review and identify key points within RFQ's/RFP's.Coordinate and request required Bid Bonds when requested.Coordinate or obtain information needed to be included in proposals and prequalification packages.Assist when needed to prepare project bid packages, including completing bid documents, envelops, forms, etc. when necessary.Promote and maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with all clients and company personnel.Create and update professional resumes for inclusion in proposal packages and bids.Perform overtime work as required and requested by supervisor to meet department and company needs.Key 30, 60, 90 Day AccomplishmentsCapable to manage, set up and complete all bid documents, request quotes and delivers bids.Coordinates and request bid bonds, tracks and records bid results, request quotesFully capable to deliver and execute all essential duties and responsibilities listed above.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:1-3 years of administrative experience requiredConstruction industry experience a plusProficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, OutlookProficiency in Bluebeam, ConstructJob, MS Project or other related Construction Management software a plusHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, bachelor's degree a plusStrong written and verbal communications skills with the proactive nature to consistently follow upInterest and aptitude in learning new processes and systems within the electrical fieldProven ability to keep a positive attitude and organized mindset in a fast-paced changing environment WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standard office environment. Individual will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of programs, typically 25 pounds or less.
