Job Description:
Systems Engineer Manager (San Diego, CA) Duties: Perform installation and configuration of Linux,
Windows, Oracle, MySQL and ClearCase. Perform Windows Administration and UNIX/Linux User ID Administration. Administer
Microsoft Windows Servers (Active Directory), Microsoft Exchange 2016, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft O365
Administration, Windows and Apple Mac Workstations, and network security devices. Manage Cloud and
on-premise storage devices. Install/manage Hybrid O365 Exchange 2010/2013/2016, Sonexis conference manager, WebEx,
Cisco Telepresence devices, Cisco Call Manager and MDM tools like Airwatch and intune. Troubleshoot
applications using DNS and DHCP. Perform security implementation using ACL's and special file permissions.
Administer IBM Rational ClearCase Deployment, installation, creation of Multisite VOBs. Create file system and configure to
available networks through NFS. Monitor system logs and root email for important messages such as errors and
warnings or hardware fail errors. Manage Disk File Systems, Server Performance, Users Creation and granting of file access
permissions. Troubleshoot CISCO VPN Client Related issues. Setup site-to-site VPN's and Zone based Firewalls.
Configure and administer Cisco/Watchguard firewall, routers and switches. Implement of Network Address Translation using
Static NAT, and Dynamic NAT. Installation/configure/support for OMS gateway products. Perform
VMware vSphere 5.1 administration. Administration of telecommunications circuits including T1, PRI, BGP, VPN,
IPSec and point-to-point connectivity. Education and Experience: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in systems
administration including hardware/software maintenance; or in
the alternative, a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years experience as
indicated above. Special Requirements: Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): installing and
administering including Windows, Macintosh, Linux, CentOS, VMware Virtualization (vSphere & ESXi), Dell hardware, SATA/IDE
hard drives, SCSI devices and Direct Attached Storage; DE performing network administration including hardware
configuration and operating systems, and server installation in DHCP, using TCP, DNS, LAN and WAN; DE
configuring Cisco TPs, Call Manger, VoIP, PRI, T1/E1 and NBX Phone Systems using Sonexis Conferencing Systems and Adtran
NetVanta; DE performing software installation and maintenance using Windows, Linux, iOS, Cisco, IBM ClearCase, and
AIX; DE in Microsoft O365 Hybrid design, planning and configuration; DE performing maintenance and troubleshooting
of Cisco Firewalls and VPN systems; DE interfacing with internal and external IT teams and vendors to coordinate
systems and network administration activities; DE installing, supporting and configuring gateway products for OMS
