Job Description:
A company is looking for a Renovation Underwriter responsible
for evaluating and underwriting renovation loans.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate loan applications for risks and compliance with investor
requirements
Review renovation-related documents and new loan files to ensure
they meet agency standards
Communicate with loan originators and other stakeholders regarding
loan decisions and requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
2 years of renovation lending underwriting experience
5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience with knowledge of FHA,
VA, and conventional guidelines
DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications required; USDA experience is a
plus
Ability to work remotely
