For more than 35 years, weve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. Our CARF accredited, post acute residential, vocational and outpatient programs are offered in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh regions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Louisiana and Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Colorado, and California.Hourly rate $19-$21 per hour, based on education and experience.As a Part-Time Rehab Patient Care Tech, you will be working collaboratively with the rehab team and with the patients you are assigned. You will be providing care and assistance for our patients to promote their success in daily living tasks, mobility and exercise and recreational and community based activities. You may assist the individuals with cognitive exercises and orientation. Responsibilities include overseeing and assisting with AM/PM routines as needed (including wake-up, showering, hygiene and breakfast, medications) and other patient care tech/nursing assistant activities. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, insurance and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained. Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required. The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers is a must.
