Summary of Position:An Enrollment Coordinator is a professional
who follows and enforces the State of California Title 5 and Title
22 Regulations, Childcare Licensing requirements, and ECCDC
policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance in the
family enrollment process. To be successful as an enrollment
coordinator, you should be able to assess the eligibility of
candidates for state preschool or Head Start programs, make
recommendations, and maintain meticulous records. An outstanding
Enrollment Coordinator will demonstrate exceptional communication,
leadership skills and have a high standard of
accuracy.Qualifications:? 1-2 years? experience in CA State
preschool needs and eligibility requirements?? Preferred knowledge
in CenterTrack and/or enrollment information systems? Intermediate
experience in business related computer software with emphasis in
Word, Excel, Outlook, and data collection, and organization? Must
have positive attitude, be team player at all times and demonstrate
leadership skills? Possession of self-starter, detail-oriented
skills and must take initiative and follow through? Ability to
demonstrate professionalism with parents, staff, and community
partners at all times?? Ability to effectively manage time and
position duties/responsibilities? Ability to prioritize and
multitask, completing multiple projects/files at the same time?
Ability to accurately understand, collect and input data related to
ECCDC children and family?s attendance and enrollment information?
Ability to problem solve and provide concrete ideas to improve data
accumulation efforts and accuracy? Must have strong math skills and
experience entering data into systems proficiently?Requirements:?
High School Diploma or GED - University degree preferred? Bilingual
in English/Spanish (speaking, writing, & reading) - Preferred?
Family centered case management skills ? Preferred? Community
resources ? Preferred? Previous Title 5 and Title 22 experience ?
Preferred? Valid California Driver?s License? Certification in
Pediatric First Aid and CPR from an EMSA certified program (must be
met within 60 days of employment)? Must meet and maintain CA
Department of Social Services licensing requirements regarding
employment in a childcare center (Fingerprints, Health Screen, Drug
and Alcohol Test clearance, TB, influenza, pertussis, and
measles).? Professional conduct and appearanceResponsibilities and
Job Duties:? Maintains full funded enrollment of two child
development centers and/or build and maintain eligibility
wait-lists as assigned.?? Immunizations (collecting, maintain
tracking, and reporting to the state)? Coordinate outreach and
recruitment events to provide information and enrollment
opportunities to potentially eligible families in the community.??
Serves as a resource to families in all aspects of the enrollment
department, including eligibility concerns, location transfer
requests, attendance concerns, or enrollment status updates, etc.??
Ensuring center compliance with health, social services,
enrollment, attendance, and family concerns.? Maintain compliance
with all components of the California State Preschool Program,
General Child Care Program, Title 5, Title 22, and ECCDC?s
Performance Standards, Regulations, Guidelines, and Standard
Operating Procedures; and performs related work as required.?
Utilize positive, informative, and professional interaction to
initiate and complete family enrollments, and recertification?s.?
Achieve and maintain accurate family data files and auditing ?
using crosschecking and double verification procedures.? Report
activity, significant findings or problems, and weekly status to
program director.? Utilize data collection software, emails, faxes
consistent with ECCDC procedures.? Maintain a neat, organized, and
orderly office and work environment.? Build relationships in the
community with other agencies and professionals to provide
information about ECCDC programs.?? Oversight and leadership
requirements of the enrollment specialists and administrative
assistant.? Coordinate and process dis-enrollments with site
supervisors and program director.?? Any other duties as assigned by
the supervisor or ECCDC management team.??Physical, Mental, and

performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to:? Sit and/or stand for extended periods, walk, bend at
the waist and knees, kneel and uses hands, arms and legs for
dexterity and balance frequently. Occasionally lifts, carries, and
balances objects weighing up to 30 pounds.? Generally, performs
work in a climate-controlled office or childcare center setting
which may occasionally create an exposure to dust and pollens.?
Pulls and pushes such objects as file drawers and supplies.?
Prioritizes and multi-tasks work and projects requiring good
memory, concentration, and analytical thinking.? Occasionally
required to perform the safe operation of office equipment and
machines and recognize and abate safety hazards within the
workplace. Frequently is required to perform the safe operation of
a vehicle and abide by all vehicular laws.? Must be able to hear,
see including peripheral vision and distinction of colors, read and
communicate verbally and in writing frequently with a wide range of
people from divergent socio-economic and cultural backgrounds and
origins.? The noise level in the work environment ranges from quite
office setting to moderate in childcare centers.
