Job Description:
US Foods, a leading force in the foodservice distribution
industry, is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager to supervise
the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is crucial for
ensuring the effective and efficient distribution of our vast range
of products, including our high-quality private label goods. As a
Warehouse Manager, you will oversee a team dedicated to maintaining
the highest standards of inventory management, logistics, safety,
and staff productivity. This position requires a deep understanding
of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and staff
leadership. At US Foods, we empower our team leaders to work
collaboratively across departments to support our mission of
partnering with approximately 300,000 restaurants and foodservice
operators. Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including
receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Supervise a diverse team of warehouse staff, providing training and
development to enhance performance. Develop and maintain a safe
work environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Optimize
operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with other department managers to streamline operations
and achieve business goals. Prepare and review warehouse activity
reports and performance data to measure productivity and goal
achievement. Manage budgeting and operational expenses within the
warehouse. Proven leadership and team management skills Strong
organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in inventory
management software and systems Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
Problem-solving skills and ability to manage contingencies Medical
