Job Description:
Under the guidance of the HRIS Manager, responsible for
coordinating HRIS system upgrades and testing. May lead HRIS
projects and system implementations. Complete quarterly and annual
surveys. Prepare reports and audits as requested.Partners with all
members of the HRIS team and functional owners to continually
improve processes, maximize productivity and support new HR
initiativesPerform day-to-day operations that include: Research,
review, analysis of effectiveness and efficiency of the existing
HRIS systems: Lawson, JobVite, Healthstream, FMLASource, Kronos,
Tableau.Designs and supports system configuration and
notifications.Executes system enhancements, including new
functionality rollouts and modifications of existing functionality
and coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including test
documentation and post-implementation supportAbility to think
outside the box, perform "root cause analysis" of data issues and
implement correction/changeSpeak and read English at a level that
is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of
the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e.,
calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer
software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint,
internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use
of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as
selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening
folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or
within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential
functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows
Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and

of Palomar Health.Job RequirementsMinimum Education: Bachelor's
Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and
experiencePreferred Education: Masters Degree in related
fieldMinimum Experience: 4-6 years in related area of Human
ResourcesSolid understanding of database tables and
structuresRequires intermediate to advanced level proficiency with
MS Access, MS Excel, including experience with v-lookup, pivot
tables and creation of charts and graphsPreferred Experience: 7+
years in related area of Human ResourcesWorking knowledge with
Lawson HRIS system or related system. VBA and SQL coding in MS
Access preferredRequired Certification: Preferred Certification:
