We provide end-to-end medical transportation as well as fire services, integrated healthcare solutions and disaster response.JOB SUMMARYProvides general administrative support. Duties include securing personnel records. Additionally, the position requires the completion and timely submission of requests, projects and routine reports, while ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality. This position consists of the entry of large amounts of data. Must demonstrate efficient work habits and demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIESAssists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.Maintains employee files and Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed. Assists with new employee orientationsHelps to monitor performance appraisal process. Assists in exit interview process. Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.Assists employees with request to review personnel files.Assist the HR department in special projects as needed.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocolPerform other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Practical knowledge of principles and practices of the Human Resources.Solid experience with various PC-based software programs including complex databases and reporting.Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.Experience in working independently, effectively organize multiple priorities and meet agreed-on deadlines.Ability to balance friendly, service-oriented relationship with employees, while maintaining strict confidentiality.Experience working under pressure with frequent interruptions on tasks that require attention to detail and accuracy.Education:HS Diploma or GED. Preferred Assoicates Degree or human resources Skills:Skills in observation, assessment, problem solving, and exercising sound judgment and tact.Skill in using the telephone effectively and exhibiting a pleasant, service-oriented manner.WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Working Conditions:Entails exposure to the following environmental conditions: Constant exposure to moderate business office noise levels such as office machines, conversations, foot traffic; some (less then 1/3rd) .Physical Demands:Involves sitting, speaking, and listening for four or more hours per a day; using hands to key and check data and information for four or more hours per a day; reaching; lifting up to 50 lbs.; walking.Requires close and distant visual capability.Mental RequirementsCustomer / Patient Focused:Anticipates and strives to understand the unique needs of each employees.Tailors each interaction to the specific needs of the person and/or situation.Responds quickly and effectively to problems that arise while providing service.Communication:Demonstrates open, honest and respectful communication.Accountability:Takes responsibility for individual actions, decisions and results.Measures progress against agreed upon plans and stated goals.Continuous Improvement:Thinks broadly when seeking new ways to improve performance, processes and services.Seeks out and utilizes best practices.
