Job Description The Shift Supervisor is responsible for creating and facilitating an environment focused on guest relations. Manages employees effectively according to company policies, procedures and guidelines. Delivers food during peak hours of operation. Responsible for start-up of equipment and processes (opening shift) and shut down of shift (closing shift). Manages cash flow throughout shift, makes deposits to safe and bank utilizing cash deposit procedures. Responsible for administrative paperwork to include reports, inventory and ordering as necessary. Promotes company initiatives and is responsive to guest needs in a positive, friendly manner.Additional responsibilities will include working with outside vendors and sales programs.Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Manages employees in accordance with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual labor and cost of sales goalsEffectively manages guest relations Participates in inventory to include assisting with count, ordering, receipt and proper zoning of productParticipates in and ensures execution of Master Prep and production sheetsEnd of night paperworkOpening equipment and processesClosing equipment and processesAssistance with Catering responsibilities delivery, production, order taking and problem resolutionMeal Period/Rest Break complianceMakes deposits to safe and bank utilizing cash deposit procedures (Armored car service)Delivers food during peak hours to table and to catering guestsResponsible for maintaining state Foodhandler/ServSafe certifications Responsible for maintaining food safety and restaurant cleanliness standardsAll other duties as assigned
