Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Huntington Park, CA Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,328 to $1,528 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active California PTA license or license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred. Client notes indicate primarily orthopedic caseload; no pelvic or wheelchair-bound caseload expected. Comfort providing one-on-one patient care. The clinic assigns PTs for initial evaluations; PTA will perform follow-ups and progress reports. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload. Typical daily patient load is approximately 16–18 patients per day. Experience treating a broad age range from teens to geriatrics preferred. Resume required for consideration. Patient population: Teen through geriatric, primarily orthopedic diagnoses. Clinical responsibilities: Follow-up visits and progress reports; initial evaluations performed by designated PT. Floating: Candidate may be expected to float within the client’s outpatient network if required.
