Job Description:
Job Summary and Responsibilities Academic Staff Physicians must
be members of the Medical Staff at St. Mary Medical Center and must
be licensed by the State of California and currently certified by
the American Board of Internal Medicine. Subspecialty board
certification is desirable or required as designated in
descriptions for specific positions in the Department of Medical
Education or at the Hospital. Academic Staff Physicians will have
interests and aptitudes for teaching, learning, program
administration, and academic creativity as defined by the David
Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Job Requirements Minimum of 1
year in a similar role or completion of a year as a post residency
Chief Resident Graduate of US, Canadian, or other international
medical school (recognized by the Medical Board of California) Must
possess a full unrestricted medical license in the State of
California As outlined by their St Mary Medical Staff privileges
credentialing approval Board eligible or certified by the
recognized American Board of Medical Specialties Where You'll Work
