Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Genetic Scientist (Genetic
Counseling).
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with a team of geneticists and counselors to analyze
clinical data and manage cases
Establishes phenotype-genotype links and reviews a wide range of
genetic disorders
Utilizes proprietary software and workflows to qualify variants
from exome and genome sequencing
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Master's degree from an accredited Genetic Counseling program
2+ years of experience in a clinical diagnostics laboratory setting
preferred
Previous experience with variant curation is preferred
Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or
equivalent
Appropriate judgment for diagnostic and predictive testing
