For more than 32 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. Our CARF accredited, post acute residential, vocational and outpatient programs are offered in 10 states across the country.
Responsibilities:We are searching for a Full-time or Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant for our Escondido, CA location. The Physical Therapy Assistant will assists the Physical Therapist with patient related activities and direct patients care. This person must have an aptitude to lead by example, work alongside other team members, problem solve and deliver the highest quality customer service. Requires the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others including physicians, nurses, administrators, managers, vendors, and other health care industry personnel. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

  Qualifications:Education & ExperienceAssociates Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required, Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred. Must be certified in the state of California. Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards and practices, how to use the physical therapy equipment, and OSHA and infection control regulations required. Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required. Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must. A valid driver's license, car and current automobile insurance are required.
