Job Description:

A large group of ophthalmologists is seeking a cataract/refractive surgeon to join them and be funneled all the refractive cataract surgery and LASIK surgery in the group. This role is designed to be heavily surgical so a new associate can expect to be in the OR multiple days per week. All surgery will be done in a practice owned surgery center and LASIK suite. The new surgeon will have patients available to them on arrival. The practice needs a surgeon who is very comfortable with discussing multi-focal IOLs, femto-assisted cases, and doing LASIK on a regular basis. The practice is planning to build a co-managed referral network with optometrists in its footprint. Compensation will consist of a base salary with a production bonus and opportunity to buy into the practice. There is no hospital call required with this position.
