Reporting to the CFO, the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
(FP&A) will be responsible for providing financial support and
thought partnership to the Sales, Marketing and Hospitality teams.
The Financial Planning & Analysis team works closely with
organizational leadership to provide clarity on business financials
and help drive company performance. In addition to leading the
annual financial planning and budgeting efforts for the Commercial
and Hospitality organizations, the Director, FP&A will support
the Strategy group in the preparation of the Company's Strategic
Plan. This role will be responsible for supporting business
strategies and growth initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities -
- Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the Commercial and
Hospitality teams, building strong relationships with department
leaders
- Commercial organization scope includes Sales, Marketing, and
Strategy teams in addition to supporting the Hospitality/Direct to
Consumer (DTC) teams - Bistros, Company Retail Stores, Taprooms and
Ecommerce
- Support Commercial and Hospitality leadership in the
development of strategic plans for current and future business
needs of their respective areas
- Provide thoughtful insight on potential opportunities to evolve
the company's needs and priorities through our organizational
integration process
- Create, improve, and maintain financial processes
- Lead, coordinate, and consolidate the business unit budgeting,
forecasting, and reporting processes for the Commercial and
Hospitality teams as well corporate functions: Executive, People
Team, Legal, Accounting and Technology groups
- Assist with the total company annual operating plan, budgeting,
forecasting, and reporting processes
- Prepare comprehensive business reviews and updates to
executive-level audiences
- Analyze and interpret financial data and trends to provide
recommendations to improve the quality of management decisions
- Aid in implementing processes to enhance Commercial cost
tracking, including greater visibility into local development fund
(LDF) spend and streamlined reporting
- Drive additional process improvement and innovation to enhance
and optimize financial planning and Commercial/Hospitality partner
support
- Partner with Operations Finance, Strategy, Accounting, and
Technology partners to ensure accuracy, alignment, and efficiency
of key processes and reporting tools
- Ensure proper goal alignment for team and direct reports,
including robust performance and development discussions -
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics or finance required.
MBA is highly preferred
- CPA or CMA designation is a plus
- 10+ years of FP&A and cost accounting experience in a
multi-facility manufacturing environment within the beer, beverage,
or CPG industries
- Excellent knowledge of standard cost / management accounting
principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with
significant focus on financial reporting, cost accounting and cash
management and experience preparing US GAAP audited financials
- Advanced large-scale and mid-scale ERP/MRP skills and
experience with Oracle ERP implementation experience preferred;
comfortability with extracting data from disparate systems and
leveraging data analytics tools such as PowerBI
- Advanced Excel skills and thorough understanding of other
Microsoft Office products
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
as well as excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and
organizational skills
- Ability to drive impact both strategic and tactical finance and
company initiatives
- Collaborative and team oriented with ability to both influence
and partner with cross-functional team leaders across
organization
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including
ability to articulate what financial data means to a variety of
audiences
- Team leadership skills with ability to build and develop high
performing teams -
- Strong drive, initiative, and work ethic - willingness to "roll
up your sleeves" to get the job done
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple
priorities
- Understanding of consolidations and eliminations in
multi-facility / multi-company environment preferred
- Hybrid/remote office management experience with staff in
multiple locations
- Flexibility to periodically work after hours and weekends to
support month end closing activities
- Occasional travel to other company locations may be
required
- Annual Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
- Annual Bonus Plan: 12.5% of Annual Salary
