Our core values: Integrity our word is our bond, and we do what we say, Respect we demonstrate respect for our employees -owners-subcontractors-vendors-construction managers-inspectors Problem Solve Work with any and all project team members to solve and resolve project issues with a project first approach Essential Functions:The CAD Designer works in collaboration with engineers and construction personnel to produce civil and mechanical design and construction drawings to support Filanc projects. Position requires proficiency in both design and CAD software utilization, as well as the ability to produce quality work dependably and efficiently.Responsibilities:

• Develop assembly drawings for the construction of mechanical piping systems at water and wastewater projects or similar facilities
• Develop concrete lift drawings associated with the construction of water and wastewater projects or similar facilities
• Prepare civil and mechanical design drawings and details for water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, grading plans, pump stations and basic treatment facilities
• Coordinate with 3rd party engineers and CAD designs from support disciplines to produce comprehensive designs
• Read and interpret engineered drawings (Civil, Mechanical, P&ID)
• Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming convention in accordance with company standards
• Coordinate with construction field personnel to support drawing needs
• Develop and maintain CAD standards and details
• Manage time to maintain multiple competing tasks and priorities
• Work in compliance with engineering standardsSkills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years CAD Designer experience in civil and mechanical disciplines required, more preferred
  • Proficient in the use of design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit. Microstation a plus
  • Experience working with detailed design and layouts using 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Experience with design of mechanical piping systems
  • Experience with design of water wastewater pipelines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail resulting in reliably produced, quality work products
  • Highly dependable, honors commitments
