From conception to execution, can you write in various voices and styles to support and achieve client objectives? Are you an effective team player who enjoys collaboration with clients and internal team members to write effective content and engaging copy? If you're also familiar with different types of writing from blogs and articles to advertising and product copy, we'd like to hear from you.The Copywriter Should:* Be able to write quickly, clearly, and concisely for a broad audience range.* Have excellent command of written English, including exceptional grammar and spelling.* Be able to write for marketing products and services within new and traditional channels including digital, social media, and brand and sales materials.* Have the ability to write both short and long form content including marketing collateral as well as press releases and articles.* Be detailed, thorough, and strive for accuracy.* Have strong understanding of website content principles including SEO best practices.* Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as a team member.* Be able to take direction from supervisors with support from team.* Work collaboratively with internal teams and client companies (editorial, marketing, development, and design) on projects.* Work quickly and be accountable, proactive, and insightful.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree preferred* 2-5 years of professional experience writing for various industries/company types.* Must have a strong existing body of work (hard samples or online portfolio).* Agency experience a plus.* Experience with Word Press and other website platforms helpful.* Ability to work from our Escondido, CA, officeTo be considered for this position, please be able to provide writing samples or a link to your online portfolio.Trucept is an equal opportunity employer.
