Our client, a well-established leader in their industry located in Corona,CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process and ongoing accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Support full month-end close activities Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Complete bank and suspense account reconciliations Record incoming wire transfers and returned transactions Maintain accurate backlog profitability reporting Handle monthly revenue entries, accruals, reclasses, and allocations Run ESSBASE during close cycles and as needed for overhead tracking and comparisons Assist with fixed asset cycles when required Prepare commission packages for internal review Support AP as needed Contribute to weekly/monthly reporting deliverables Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) 2 years of general accounting experience Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency JD Edwards experience a plus (not required) Accurate, organized, and proactive approach to work Why This Role Chance to join a respected organization with a collaborative accounting team Hands-on scope with exposure across accounting disciplines Ability to make an immediate impact Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
